Ophir Palmon

I love to write. I always have. I had my first story published in my elementary school paper, and I have continued to explore and develop this creative form since then. In 2009, encouraged by a friend, I picked up the pace and joined the Nebraska Writers Workshop. Later on, I also joined the Nebraska Novelists group.

I write to honor the voices, the muses, that circle in my head so that their spirits, their experiences, their lives, can find a permanent life on pages and screens everywhere, and through that, live forever.

I enjoy writing poetry and fiction in both Hebrew and English. I draw inspiration and ideas from people and events I experience in my life, as well as from harvesting my dreams. The language in which the words first appear to me is the language in which they will be written and published. The English translations that accompany my Hebrew works on this site are my own.

I grew up in Ramat Gan, Israel, and live in Omaha, Nebraska, although my heart also resides in several other places.
